A mass shooting incident shook the Suning county in the Hebei Province in China early on Tuesday, in which four people, including two police officers, were killed.
Five others were injured in the incident, China's CCTV news agency reported.
A schizophrenic man was behind the shooting and he was also shot dead, according to the Shanghai Daily.
Liu Shuangrui, 55, shot his neighbours and two police officers in Xibaoshi Village in Fuzuo Town with a double-barrelled shotgun, the report said.
The two policemen killed were from the Suning Public Security Bureau.
Three of those injured in the mass shooting were taken to Beijing for treatment, the paper said.
