China will host the 2016 G20 Summit in Hangzhou city, best known for its scenic West Lake, on 4-5 September, President Xi Jinping announced in Turkey on Monday.
Its theme will be "Building an innovative, invigorated, interconnected and inclusive world economy", Xi said while addressing a working lunch during the ongoing G20 summit in this Turkish resort city.
China will take over the presidency of the G20 on 1 December, Xinhua reported.
