At least two soldiers of Central Reserve Police Force were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district.
The injured jawans have been rushed to Basaguda CRPF hospital.
The bomb exploded in Basaguda area of tribal Bastar division, which is one of the worst Maoist-affected regions in Chhattisgarh.
The blast took place when two jawans stepped on the land mines. The IED was allegedly planted by Maoists.
A team of COBRA battalion of CRPF was carrying out search operation in the jungles of Basaguda area, according to All India Radio report.
