'Chennai Express', 'Bajirao Mastani', 'Ram-Leela' and Other Movies that Katrina Kaif Rejected [PHOTOS]

"Bang Bang" actress Katrina Kaif has achieved great success in her film career and is now offered big budget films opposite A-list actors. The diva is one of the highest paid actresses in the country.

But Katrina  didn't play it smart when she rejected few of the offers in blockbuster films. From "Chennai Express" to "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", the 'Chikni Chameli' of Bollywood turned down many prominent roles.

Here is the list of films that the actress rejected.

"Bajirao Mastani"

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film "Bajirao Mastani" was first offered to Katrina Kaif. But there were rumours that Katrina turned the offer down because she felt co-star Ranveer Singh was 'junior' to her. Later the 'Mastani' role went to Deepika Padukone.

"Chennai Express"

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer "Chennai Express" was the second-highest grossing film last year. Unfortunately for Katrina and fortunately for the viewers, the "Bang Bang" actress turned down the offer even though she was the first choice for the film.

"Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani"

Katrina rejected the offer of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" which was opposite her 'beau' Ranbir Kapoor. Her disapproval gave former couple Deepika Padukone and Kapoor to come together on- screen once again.

"Goliyon ki Rasleela – Ram-Leela"

Ranveer Singh and Padukone had surely sizzled the big screen with their chemistry in the film "Ram-Leela". But, initially, the film was offered to Katrina which she didn't accept.

"Gunday"

Katrina has something against Ranveer Singh as she has turned down every offer she got to work with him. The film "Gunday" was offered to her to romance with Singh as well as Arjun Kapoor but the diva refused it and the role later went to Priyanka Chopra.

"Singham"

"Jab Tak Hai Jaan" actress even rejected the film "Singham" opposite Ajay Devgn. Rohit Shetty's action-romance film was a blockbuster but Katrina might have found it below her level.

"Chakravyuh"

A buzz has been created that Katrina planned to play the roles out of her comfort zone. But the rumours were squashed when the actress decided to refuse the film "Chakravyuh."

"Mohenjo-daro"

Ashutosh Gowariker wanted to cast the "Bang Bang" couple in his upcoming film "Mohenjo-daro." Another of Hrithik Roshan's period film was turned down by Katrina as she had an issue with the dates.
