Malayalam actor Chemban Vinod Jose, who has become an inevitable part of the entertainment industry, has turned scriptwriter for an upcoming movie. Actor-turned-producer Vijay Babu announced the news on the movie titled Angamaly Diaries, while sharing its title card and photos of the launch event.
The movie, which is the eighth production venture of Friday Film House, owned by Vijay and Sandra Babu, started rolling at Angamaly in Kerala's Ernakulam district on Tuesday, October 11. The upcoming movie with the tagline Katta Local, is the directorial venture of Amen-fame Lijo Jose Pellissery. Though the filmmaker's previous outing Double Barrel failed to make a mark at the box office, Angamaly Diaries, which stars as many as 86 newcomers is expected to be a different project in Malayalam.
"Our 8th production "Angamaly diaries "directed by Lijo pelliserry and scripted by Chemban Vinod Jose started rolling today at Angamaly . Launching 86 new actors in AD. A new beginning ... New experience ...God bless [sic]," Vijay Babu posted on his Facebook page.
Girish Gangadharan will crank the camera, while Prashant Pillai will compose the music. Editing of Angamaly Diaries will be handled by Shameer Mohammed. The shooting of the project is expected to wrap up by November and the film might hit the screens in early 2017.
