Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa says that he wants to move to Chelsea in order to get a chance to work under Jose Mourinho.

The Blues, after seeing their initial bid of £16 million for the Brazilian rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk, have reportedly increased their offer to £18.7 million.

And Costa hopes that a deal will be finalised before 2 February so that he can complete his move to Chelsea and get an opportunity to work alongside Mourinho.

"To play at Chelsea is a dream for any player," he told GloboEsporte.com. "It is standing next to some of the best players in the world and competing with the world's best as well.

"But really, what catches my eye is the coach. He [Mourinho] is a very intelligent coach and has been victorious wherever he went. One of the things that would make me happier to play at Chelsea would be this."

Despite saying that he learnt a lot from manager Mircea Lucescu at Shakhtar Donetsk, the Brazilian feels that he can improve further under Mourinho.

"I learned a lot [at Shakhtar] with [coach Mircea] Lucescu. I arrived at Shakhtar aged 19 and he taught me a lot. I am very grateful. But I also know that with Mourinho at Chelsea, my progress would be even greater.

"He has won just about everything. He is among the best, if not the best. He is at the top."

Meanwhile, Andre Schurrle is reportedly interested in making a move back to the Bundesliga to join Wolfsburg.

The 24-year-old winger, who completed a move from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea for a reported £18 million in the summer of 2013, is reportedly unhappy at Stamford Bridge owing to limited first team action this season.

Now, with the Blues being strongly linked with a move for Douglas Costa, Schurrle is in danger of falling further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Due to this reason, the German World Cup winner is reportedly keen to make a move out of Stamford Bridge, with Wolfsburg keen on securing his signature this month, according to Sky Sports.

Mourinho earlier stated that only "a phenomenal offer" would see Chelsea part with any of their players in the winter transfer window, and Wolfsburg are believed to be preparing a £22.5 million bid for the German.

Although a number of clubs are believed to be interested in Schurrle, the German is believed to be interested in joining Wolfsburg, who are currently second in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich.
