One of the most talked about celebrity weddings of the year, Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are set to tie the knot on July 8 in Bhopal. After the haldi ceremony (held on July 6), pictures of the mehendi function (held on July 7) have now been revealed.
In the pictures, the bride-to-be looked pretty in a pink lehenga with minimal make-up and jewellery. What was more fascinating was the unique mehendi design on Divyanka's hands. The actress chose to sketch Vivek and her face on both her hands, instead of the groom's name.
Later in the evening, the sangeet ceremony was held where Divyanka opted for a royal blue and golden traditional dress, while Vivek chose to wear a red outfit. The couple also gave a stunning dance performance.
Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood life, Vivek had said that he would sing "Soch Na Sake" from the film "Airlift" if he was asked to serenade his beloved in the sangeet function. Divyanka and Vivek had recorded a special wedding track for their big day as well.
The wedding on July 8 will be followed by a reception in Chandigarh (Vivek's hometown) on July 10.
Divyanka and Vivek, who met on the sets of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony in January this year. The couple will reportedly move to a rented flat in Malad, Mumbai, soon after returning from the wedding reception in Chandigarh. Interestingly, Vivek has planned a surprise honeymoon trip for them, but will have to wait until they find the right opportunity to travel.
