After Bigbang star G-Dragon and actress Kiko Mizuhara reportedly called it quits on their relationship, EXO singer Baekhyun and Girls' Generation member Taeyeon are being dogged by split rumours.
The Korean celebrity couple, who was in a relationship for more than a year and four months, reportedly called it off due to busy schedules.
Although the singers and their representatives from SM Entertainment are tight-lipped about the break-up, an insider from the Korean music industry revealed that the couple "recently ended their relationship" mainly because they want to focus on "their individual activities and naturally grew apart".
"Even last March, Taeyeon secretly attended EXO's solo concert in Seoul and displayed her affection for Baekhyun, but they eventually weren't able to overcome their busy schedules. Although the two have ended their romantic relationship, they have decided to remain good sunbae (senior) and hoobae (junior)," Allkpop quoted the source as saying.
Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Baekhyun's secret relationship with his teammate Chanyeol could be the real reason for his break up. Last month, social media users circulated several photos of the EXO members online claiming they are seeing each other
However, this piece of news has not been confirmed as yet. So, Kpop fans will have to wait for an official statement from SM Entertainment to know the real reason behind Baekhyun and Taeyeon's split.
