The Champions Trophy 2017 is being held in England and Wales, and the top eight teams in the ICC ODI rankings as on September 30, 2015, are participating in the tournament.
Group A consists of host nation England, Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh, while Group B consists of defending champions India, South Africa, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Teams from each group will face each other once and the top two teams from each group will make it to the semi-finals. The winner of Group A will face the runner-up from Group B, while the winner of Group B will face the runner-up of Group A.
The two semi-finals are set to take place on June 14 and 15 and will be played at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff and Edgbaston in Birmingham while the finals will be played at The Oval in London.
