Champions League T20 2013 (CLT20), a Twenty20 cricket tournament featuring different franchises from cricketing countries, will kick off on 17 September and come to a close on 6 October. The tournament will be played at several venues in India.
West Indian champions - Trinidad & Tobago - will feature in the main draw this season while no team from England will take part in the tournament. Interestingly, Pakistani side Faisalabad Wolves will play in the qualifiers, throwing up a chance of meeting one of the Indian Premier League teams if they qualify for the main draw.
The teams will be split into Group A and Group B comprising of five teams each - four seeded teams and one each from the qualifiers. Top two performing teams from each group will qualify for the semi finals.
Group A: Mumbai Indians (India), Highveld Lions (South Africa), Perth Scorchers (Australia), Rajasthan Royals (India), Q1 (Qualifier)
Group B: Chennai Super Kings (India), Titans (South Africa), Brisbane Heat (Australia), Trinidad & Tobago (West Indies), Q2 (Qualifier)
Qualifier: Sunrisers Hyderabad (India), Otago Volts (New Zealand), Kandurata Maroons (Sri Lanka), Faisalabad Wolves (Pakistan)
