The Champions League final kicks off in Milan on 28 May, with fierce rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid fighting it out for the title. It is a repeat of the 2014 final, which saw Real take home their 10th Champions League trophy in extra time.

For Real, this match represents a chance for new manager and club legend Zinedine Zidane to win a trophy just five months into his tenure. Since taking over from Rafa Benitez in January, the Frenchman has taken Real to the brink of the La Liga title, where they finished just one point behind eventual champions Barcelona, and are now just one game away from Europes most coveted crown.

For Atletico, it has been another season punching above their weight, both domestically and in Europe. Diego Simeones team have proven tougher than ever to beat, finishing just three points off the top place in the Spanish league. They knocked out favourites Barcelona and Bayern Munich on their way to the final in the Champions League, and have beaten Real in five of their last six league encounters.
