Chinese consumer electronics giant Lenovo on Thursday unveiled the new budget 4G smartphone A6000 at the ongoing CES 2015. The new Lenovo A6000 sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with custom UI Vibe 2.0.
Under the hood, it comes packed with 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 SoC (System on Chip) with 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and 2300 mAh battery.
Lenovo A6000 India availability and price details:
During the launch at CES 2015, Lenovo announced that A6000 would cost $169 (around €143/₹10,700), but it is learnt that the company will lower the price further in India to give stiff challenge to the domestic leader Micromax and the popular Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi that has made tremendous inroads in to the market in just 7 months of entering the subcontinent.
NDTV Gadgets, citing sources, has reported that Lenovo A6000 will be sold exclusively on Flipkart for sub-₹10,000. However, specific release timeline of device is yet to be ascertained.

In a related development, Lenovo's subsidiary, Motorola Mobility is also slated to launch a slew of affordable 4G-LTE smartphones in India later this year.
