Indigenous smartphone maker, Micromax has reportedly unveiled a dual-boot tablet PC dubbed as LapTab at the ongoing International CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Las Vegas, USA.
Popular technology blog, Engadget present at the CES event claims that Micromax's new gadget LapTab would go on sale early next month with a companion wireless keyboard; the details regarding its price is yet to be ascertained.[To view the Micromax tablet, Click Here]
However, back in India, Micromax has not made any official announcement to the local media yet. Many believe the company may hold a separate press event to make the LapTab public soon.
According to the blog, Micromax LapTab sports 10.1-inch HD (1280x800p) LCD screen and boasts of dual-boot options capable of running both Android mobile OS (Jelly Bean) and the Microsoft's Windows 8.1.
Under the hood, it packs 1.46GHz Intel Celeron processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB flash memory and 7400 mAh battery. It also houses 2.0-megapixel camera on the rear side as well as the on the front side.
