The Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2014) is expected to bring some key innovations out of the box for the techies around the world. While the CES 2013 event in January brought some key gadgets on display including Pebble smartwatch, Sony Xperia Z, 4K video resolution and Oculus Rift, the upcoming 2014 version is said to bring a new range of gadgets into existence, leaving the fans craving for more.
From the never-ending leaks and rumours about certain smartphones and other gadgets, a list of expected devices has been created, which might flag the event as one of the most essential one.
Following is the list of gadgets which might be showcased in the CES 2014 event.
Samsung Galaxy S5
The Korean tech firm is said to leave no stone unturned when it comes to promoting its smartphones. Like we saw the showcasing of its flexible YOUM display in CES 2013, fans might see the firm unveiling its much awaited Samsung Galaxy S5.
The diminishing sales of S4 in the past few weeks is said to bring the S5 release date near the CES 2014 event, according to Techradar. Samsung has however not sealed the dates officially, as of now.
Fans can also expect the revelation of Samsung's foldable phone-to-tablet and fold-in-two handset in the event as a competition to LG's G Flex device.
Microsoft's Not-So-Big Comeback
Microsoft is believed to throw some more light on its Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 hybrid tablets as it did the same by sporting a pre-production of Surface Pro in CES 2013.
Some important news regarding the latest operating systems, Windows 8.1 and 8.1 RT, might be revealed alongside some latest tit-bits with Nokia.
Wearable Tech's Presence
For the fitness freaks, CES might bring more number of bands for keeping track of user's health same as the likes of Nike Fuelband and Fitbit Force. The rumours on the introduction of Google's and Apple's smartwatches are also running hot for the CES 2014.
Some of the confirmed watch exhibitors for the event include Burg Limited, COOKOO, Dennco Brands, Kronoz LLC, MetaWatch, Neptune and Qualcomm Toq.
Solar charging handbags, jackets with adjustable temperature and many more are set to get the spotlight in the event.
