Contrary to reports that Ajay Devgn's Shivaay has been granted a U certificate with just one cut by the censor board, it has now been revealed that the film is yet to be screened for the board.
Ajay Devgn's Shivaay has Pakistani link
It was earlier reported that Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the movie Shivaay with just little trimming of the kissing scene between Ajay and Erika Kaar.
Did Salman Khan advise Sayyeshaa Saigal to make debut in Ajay Devgn's Shivaay?
"Shivaay was screened on Thursday after ADHM was passed by the CBFC on Wednesday. Ajay Devgn has been at the Walkeshwar office of the board for the last few days. Only the kiss and lovemaking scene between Ajay and Erika Kaar has been trimmed a bit," DNA quoted a source as saying.
However, it has now come up as a false report as trade analyst Taran Adarsh quoted officials from the CBFC saying that Shivaay is yet to be screened for censorship. "#Shivaay censorship: Film NOT screened for the censor board yet. 'News that it has been censored is untrue and baseless': official statement," tweeted Taran Adarsh.
Directed by Ajay himself, the movie Shivaay is an action thriller that also features Sayyeshaa Saigal and Erika. The film is one of the most awaited flicks of this year and has also been making news for the box office clash with another big movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
