Hyderabad based Celkon Mobiles, after the successful launch of A119 Signature HD in March, is all set to release the sequel of its flagship smartphone this month.
Celkon on Wednesday (8 May) released the teaser image of the A119Q Signature HD quad-core smartphone along with the list of key specs. The company also announced that the new smartphone will hold a price-tag of ₹12,499, ₹1000 less than its predecessor A119 Signature HD (₹13,499).
The A119Q Signature HD smartphone packs feature-rich specifications and has the potential to affect the sales prospects of Micromax's Canvas as well as Karbonn's Titanium smartphone series. Chances are also high that it might even cannibalise the sales of its own predecessor, A119 Signature HD, which was released less than two months ago.
A119Q Signature HD sports a 5.0-inch IPS 1280x720p display and it runs on the Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS powered by a MediaTek MT6589 1.2GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX 544 graphics engine. It packs 1GB RAM and 4G internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
According to various reports, A119Q Signature HD is expected to be released next week.
