Fast-growing handset maker Celkon Mobiles rolled out another budget-priced Android smartphone, called Celkon A9 +, into India's lucrative smartphone market
The smartphone which is priced ₹3, 299 was launched a few days after the company released its 5-inch Signature One A107. On the specifications front, Celkon's new handset comes with 3.5-inch display and is powered by 1GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and packs 256MB RAM.
The device supports the connectivity features like GPRS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and houses a 2-megapixel rear camera plus a VGA front camera. The smartphone is powered by 1350mAh battery.
The company expanded its Signature portfolio with Celkon A107 Signature One earlier this month. The dual-SIM Celkon A107 Signature smartphone sports a 5.0-inch capacitive screen and it runs on the Andoridn mobile OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and hosts 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card. Other specifications include an impressive 8.0-megapixel main camera with Led flash, VGA camera, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity and a 2,100mAh battery. The handset is priced ₹6,999.
Both smartphones come bundled with freebies like flip cover and free pouch upon purchase. The handsets can be purchased from e-retailer Snapdeal and various online stories.
