The separation of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin will certainly top this year’s list of high profile splits. The actress and Coldplay frontman wed ten years ago and have two children together. Gwyneth announced the news via her website Goop and referred to the breakup as a “conscious uncoupling”. She also stated that they’ve been working hard on saving the marriage for over a year.
But there was no sign of trouble back in January when the pair was seen looking very much together at Sean Penn’s fundraiser for Haitian relief and an event for Stand Up To Cancer.
Mick Jagger said goodbye to his longtime girlfriend L’Wren Scott as she was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. The former model and fashion designer was found dead a week ago after committing suicide. Good friend Christina Hendricks recently paid tribute to L’Wren by wearing one of her designs to a “Mad Men” panel at PaleyFest.
