New Delhi, January 9 (ANI): Born on 18th July 1982 in Jamshedpur to parents who were both physicians in the Indian Army, Priyanka is a graduate from U.S. She was crowned "Miss India" in 2000 and, later that year, won "Miss World" before beginning her acting career. She made her Bollywood debut with the movie "The Hero", followed it with her first Box-office hit "Andaaz". She earned critical acclaim for her portrayal of a seductress in the thriller "Aitraaz", and subsequently played the lead female role in several commercially-successful films. Her portrayal of a troubled model in "Fashion" earned her many accolades, and won her the National and Film fare Awards for Best Actress. She was last seen as autistic woman in the movie "Barfi" for which she has got a lot of appreciation. Fondly known as Pee Cee, she is also the first Indian actress to become a global pop-singer! In 2012, Priyanka released her first single "In My City" and her second "Exotic" in 2013, both of which topped the chartbusters in countries such as the United States and Canada. The actress, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming flick 'Gunday', was spotted at the first song launch of the film where she got candid with us.
