Actor Sethuraman, who is better known as Sethu, organised a wedding reception Sunday, Feb.21. The event was held at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiyar Hall, Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai and it was graced by some of the big names from Kollywood.

Jayam Ravi, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Archana Kalapathi, RD Rajasekar, Ganesh Venktraman and a host of celebrities attended the wedding reception of Sethuraman with Uma. It was a grand event that was organised specially for the actor's friends from the film industry.

The couple tied the knot Feb.12 in a simple event organised at the bride's residence. The marriage was performed as per the Hindu customs. The event was restricted to relatives and close friends of the couple, who had their engagement ceremony in January 2016.

Uma is a software engineer by profession and hails from Pudhuvayal near Karaikkudi.

Sethuraman, who is a doctor by profession, made his acting debut in "Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya," produced by Santhanam. Following the success of this flick, he was signed to play the lead role in "Vaaliba Raja," which is yet to hit the screens. The Tamil film, which has Vishakha Singh and Nushrat Bharucha as the female leads, is likely to hit the screens next month.
