Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is a national-level qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (M.Des.) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur, and PhD programmes in Design at some Institutes.
CEED is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The exams are conducted to assess candidates' skills in drawing, design, visual perception ability, logical reasoning, creativity and communication.
There is no age limit to appear for CEED exam and a candidate can apply any number of times. The CEED score is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the results.
