The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the class 10 results on Tuesday evening at 4 p.m.
The board had declared the results for the Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions on Monday (19 May), while it announced the results for the rest of the regions on Tuesday.
CBSE had made arrangements for quick access of the results. Candidates can check the results on these websites: http://cbseresults.nic.in/, www.cbse.nic.in orwww.results.nic.in.
Schools can get the entire result after registering themselves on the official CBSE websites. They need to provide the respective school codes and email-ids to get the results.
Students can also check their results through the interactive voice response system (IVRS) for 0.30 per minute by dialling 011-24300599, 011-28127030 and 1155536 (for BSNL subscribers, outside Delhi)
SMS
To get the results via SMS, type cbse10 roll numbers and send to 57766 (for BSNL), 5207011 (for Airtel), 58888111 (for Aircel, Tata Docomo, Vodafone and Reliance), 9212357123 and 7738299899 (for National Information Centre).
More than 13 lakh students appeared for the class 10 exams, which commenced on 1 March and ended on 19 March.
Counselling Session
CBSE is conducting counselling sessions for students and their parents to help them overcome psychological problems and to get other information after the class 10 results are announced.
The board has been providing the service for the last 17 years and this year, the post-exam counselling sessions will begin for the class 10 students from 20 May. The sessions will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will be available till 10 June.
Trained experts, psychologists will be providing help to the students to deal with post-result stress.
