The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the class 10 (matric) results 2015 on Thursday, 28 May, at around 2 pm.
Update 2:12 pm: The CBSE website, where the class 10 results were to be declared, crashed minutes before the time of announcement.
Students can check their results here when announced
Students can check their results on cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. The class 10 students are required to enter their roll numbers in the slot provided on the web page to get their 2015 results.
Besides, Jagranjosh will also publish the CBSE Class 10 results. Students can also register their mobile numbers and email ids along with board roll numbers on the jagranjosh website to get updates on results through SMS and email.
In the 2015 CBSE Class 10 (matric) exams conducted from 2 March to 26 March, 13,73,853 students appeared, of which 5,55,912 students were girls.
The CBSE had on Wednesday postponed the date for announcement of class 10 results 2015, without giving any reason for the delay.
"Class X results will not be declared on May 27. Students waiting for the results will have to wait for one-two days more," The Hindu quoted Rama Sharma, spokesperson for CBSE, as saying.
The matric results 2015 was earlier supposed to be declared on 21 May but was later postponed to Wednesday (27 May). There are possibilities that the results will now be announced either on 28 May (Thursday) or 29 May (Friday).
The CBSE announced Class 12 board exam results on 25 May.
