A government officer in Tamil Nadu has been caught on camera playing popular game 'Candy Crush Saga' on her mobile phone during a farmers' grievance meeting on Friday, 28 August.
In the video that has gone viral on social media, the lady officer S Kavitha, a special officer for the Harur Sugar Mill in Dharmapuri, is seen totally engaged in the game without bothering about the meeting.
She is seen seated next to District Collector K Vivekanandan, who was unaware of the officer's act during the meeting.
While Kavitha was spotted playing 'Candy Crush', the exclusive video posted on YouTube by Red Pix, shows other officials attending the meeting and taking notes.
The meeting was attended by many farmers, who raised several concerns.
Latest reports suggest that the District Collector has ordered a probe into the matter. "We've asked for an explanation by the officer and we will forward it to the Public Department, which can take action if need, he said.
