"Captain America: Civil War", one of the most awaited films of 2017, will see all the new and old Avengers choosing sides between Iron Man and Captain America. But, who all are taking part in the war? Will any superheroes display skills that aren't already shown in the previous movies?
In the latest spoilers for "Captain America 3", the costume upgrades of some of the superheroes have been revealed:
Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner): The archer's costume is going to look more like the comic book version, with a lot more purple and a full sleeve.
Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman): "Captain America 3" is also set to be the debut film of Black Panther, whose costume is said to be shrouded in Vibranium, which is available in abundance in Wakanda, Black Panther's village. He is said to "scratch Cap's shield easily" during a fight. He will also be seen manoeuvring a "sleek Panther jet" that is very Stark-like, so it goes without saying, that the Black Panther is on Team Iron Man.
War Machine (Don Cheadle): Most probably in Iron Man's army, War Machine's suit is reportedly getting a lot more advanced. According to IBTimes UK, "He'll be looking more tank-style in this film and will have a new dual weapon that acts as a shoulder cannon/gun that can also be detached and used as a kind of warhammer/baton."
Ant-Man (Paul Rudd): Speaking of improvements, Ant-Man, whose independent movie will be released on 15 July, will be donning a costume that not only allows him to shrink, but also grow in size. The "Giant Man", about 15 to 20 feet, is expected to join Team Captain America.
With Ant Man/Giant Man on his side, Caps (Chris Evans) is getting an unfair advantage over his rival Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr); unless Hulk (Mark Ruffallo) joins Team Iron Man.
In a recent interview, Ruffallo fuelled the rumours of Hulk's presence in "Captain America: Civil War", by saying that Downey called him to go over to the movie, and that he agreed to do so. "I was talking to Robert Downey the other day, and he said, 'Ruffalo! I heard you're coming out here,' and I said, 'OK! I'll be there,'" reported Design and Trend.
