Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor are regulars at the Cannes Film Festival, and the latest entrant in the list might be Katrina Kaif.
"If everything goes as planned, she will make an appearance at Cannes along with other ambassadors of the beauty brand, which sponsors the festival. She is waiting for the brand to make an official announcement for the same," Mid Day quoted a source as saying.
The "Bang Bang" star was reportedly scheduled to walk the prestigious red carpet event last year for a brand promotion, but it went south after "Bang Bang" was delayed.
What's more interesting is that her alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor might attend the festival to screen his upcoming neo-noir thriller "Bombay Velvet".
"Many of Anurag Kashyap's films, including 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Ugly' have been screened there and there is a possibility that his much talked about project 'Bombay Velvet' being shown before an international audience. So, Ranbir might just travel to France to promote the film," added another source.
However, the question is whether Katrina's appearance will be as stunning as former beauty queen Aishwarya's? Only time will tell.
In other news, makers of Bachchan bahu's "Jazbaa" might release the trailer at the 68th Cannes Film Festival. "Yes that is the plan so far, I am looking forward to unveiling the first look of Jazbaa at Cannes next year, and hoping that I will be able to do so," director Sanjay Gupta told Bollywood Hungama last July.
Trailer to be out or not, Gupta has already compiled a three-minute-long teaser for the talented actress as a birthday present, last year.
