Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, along with Sanjay Gupta, unveiled the first look of her comeback vehicle "Jazbaa" at Cannes Film Festival 2015. While fans are busy raving about the poster on social media, the former beauty queen made a major announcement.
In the short clip, answering questions posted by curious minds worldwide, she informed that after wrapping up her current project, it's Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" and then Sujoy Ghosh's next film for her. Aishwarya also confirmed there are a few more films lined up, which will be announced once their makers are ready.
She also said how she squeezes in a holiday every time she's at Cannes. But this trip has to be rounded off in a couple of days as her "Jazbaa" team awaits her back home in Mumbai.
In other news, Kangana Ranaut is said to have walked out of the "Kahaani" filmmaker's film. So, is there a possibility that Aishwarya replaced her in the film?
Since there has been no official announcement on the matter yet, this can been counted as a mere speculation.
"It's true that Kangana was approached for the film and later finalised, but due to uncertain reasons she walked out of the project," a source told Mid Day.
While the "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" actor has responded to the news in negative, Ghosh said Balaji Motion Pictures would know better.
"I'm not sure if I can walk out of a project I am not committed to. I haven't signed a contract and there's no commitment made from my side. I have some projects lined up, but I don't know the order in which they will be shot. Also, after these challenging and busy few months I need a major break. So I'll take a month or two off," the leading daily quoted Kangana as saying.
