Actress Mallika Sherawat, who is a regular at the Cannes International Film Festival, made her 2016 appearance on the first day of the festival. Mallika attended the film festival as part of the promotion of her film "Time Raider."
For her first appearance, the 39-year-old actress wore a strapless Georges Hobeika Couture gown with a striped pattern from the Fall-Winter 2015-16 collection. She paired her gown, which had an intricate flower work at the bottom, with a diamond necklace and kept her hairstyle simple.
Before making her red carpet appearance, Mallika posed for the paparazzi during the photocall of her international film "Time Raider." Mallika wore a blue halter neck gown by Emilio Pucci for the photocall at the 69th Cannes Film Festival. The "Dirty Politics" actress posted photos from the photocall and her red carpet appearances on her Twitter handle.

Mallika made her first appearance at the film festival in 2010, and has been consistently making an appearance at Cannes since then.
Meanwhile, apart from Mallika, Bollywood celebrities Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will attend the film festival as brand ambassadors of cosmetic group L'Oreal Paris. "Baahubali" director SS Rajamouli and producer Shobu Yarlagadda will take part in a panel discussion. "Raman Raghav 2.0" team, including Anurag Kashyap, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal will attend the film festival for the premiere of the film.
