After talk show host Wendy Williams tried to body shame young pop star Ariana Grande on her show, Twitterati initiated an online protest and soon made #CancelWendyWilliamsShow a trending topic on the social networking site.
After saying Grande looks younger than her age, Williams went on to comment on the singer's short stature. According to Grande's supporters, this was an unfair attack. "She'll forever look 12. I don't mean that in a good way," Williams said on her show on Thursday night. She ended her tirade by saying she does not see Grande as a woman.
