Lava has added two more smartphones to its V2 series. Camera-centric handsets -- the V2 3GB running Android Marshmallow operating system and the V2s -- were launched Friday. The newly launched devices are successors of Lava Pixel V2.
The V2s comes with a price tag of Rs 8,750 and is available in royal black and icy white colours, while the V2 3GB is priced at Rs 10,750 and comes in royal black, icy white and champagne gold. The V2s is currently available for purchase, but the V2 3GB will hit the stores only in the coming week.
Gaurav Nigam, Head- Product, Lava International Ltd, said today's generation wants devices with good camera to share memorable moments and that its latest smartphones, the V2 3GB and V2s are aimed at fulfilling this demand.
"Through these devices, we aim to build a wide portfolio of high performance and great camera experience smartphones to enhance our consumers overall smartphone experience thereby empowering them to do more and be more," said Gaurav in a statement.

Lava V2s specifications
The budget smartphone sports a 5-inch HD IPS FL display with 1,280x720 pixels (294 ppi pixel density) screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, measures 142x71x8 mm in dimension and weighs 129 g. Under the hood, it has a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor clocking at 1.3 GHz, Star OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow), an 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB), a 2GB RAM, a 13MP main camera, an 8MP front-snapper and a 2,500mAh battery.
In term of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
Lava V2 3GB specifications
The device sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1,280x720 pixels (294 ppi pixel density) screen protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It measures 7.6 mm in thickness, weighs 128 g and comes packed with a 3GB RAM as its name suggests. It has a 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 32GB), a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor clocking at 1.3 GHz, a 13MP main camera, an 8MP front-snapper and a a 2,500mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE with VoLTE (upgradable), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
