Taylor Swift, ranked sixth by Fortune Magazine in their list of Top 50 leaders, inspires people around the world to do great things. But guess who inspires the "Blank Space" singer and how!
It's none other than Scottish DJ, Calvin Harris, who apparently, Swift claims has been inspiring her to write all those mushy lyrics all over again. "She's very excited about Calvin....He's making her want to write love songs and he's restoring her faith in men," reported HollywoodLife.com.
But the man in question, who has already suffered heart burn from Rita Ora, recently confronted the "Teardrops on my guitar" singer and told her that he does not want to be her muse and humiliate himself by being the subject of one of her many hatred songs. It is beneath him to join ranks of her ex-boyfriends that include One Direction member Harry Styles.
"It was the white elephant in the room, but it's been on his mind, so he confronted her about it last week, telling her he doesn't want her to do that to him," a source told OK! magazine.
However "Let's Go" producer isn't only concerned about his own reputation, but the DJ also believes that Swift is just demeaning herself by getting inspired by her exes. "He thinks she's an incredible musician who should use her intellect and channel positive energy into her songwriting, versus mundane lyrics about boys," the insider said.
Swift rubbished the rumours and insisted that her songwriting process has got nothing to do with her past relationships or break-ups."I've never thought about songwriting as a weapon," explained the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer to Vanity Fair previously.
The rumours of this DJ-singer couple getting hot between the sheets has also started doing the rounds. The buzz went viral when on the morning of 13 April, Harris was photographed leaving Swift's home. Moreover sources mentioned that they had gotten quite cozy at the Haim concert in West Hollywood just the night before.
Meanwhile the "Shake It Off" singer has managed to win a nod of approval for her relationship from her BFFs — Jaime King and Ed Sheeran, who have given the EDM DJ a big thumbs up by saying things like — "He's a wonderful man," King told E! Online, "He's a beautiful man."
"He's cool, he's a really nice guy," said Sheeran, in an interview with ZM. "Yeah, I'd give the seal of approval," he added. Watch the snippet of his interview below.
