Infinity Ward has detailed the Squads mode in its upcoming FPS title, Call of Duty: Ghosts.
This is a new mode, which will be featured in all of the Call of Duty: Ghost games. Players can see "their whole squad come to life" in this mode after the creation of a squad. A squad is mode where players are pitted against Artificial Intelligence (AI) -controlled soldiers and they can also play with other AI soldiers as a part of the squad.
The Squad mode offers different gameplay modes like Squad Assault, Squad vs. Squad, Safeguard, Safeguard Extended, Safeguard Infinite and Wargame.
"Each mode offers you an unique challenge that allows you to experience the thrill of multiplayer on your own or with friends," said Infinity Ward in a new video trailer.
The AI controlled teams are smarter and use the same tactics that players use while playing a multiplayer, Polygon reported
'Wargame' allows players to play with friends or with AI members from the squad against another AI controlled team (6 VS. 6) with loadout variety.
'Squad Assault' is a co-op mode where one team goes into battle against a team of offline players. Players will be getting their XP bonuses when they are away.
'Squad vs. Squad' in another mode, which tests the player's squad composition. Players are pitted against another player and their squad to see who has a better squad. It will be a head-to head battle.
'Safeguard,' is a co-op survival mode where player will be tested against how long one can hold his line against waves after waves of enemies. The mode allows players to use multiplayer perks.
The Squad mode is made by taking some of the best features of the multiplayer and giving players a new playing experience, said Infinity Ward. This mode was revealed at an event in August.
The game will hit PC, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Nov. 5.
