Players of Call of Duty: Ghosts, the FPS title from Infinity Ward and Activision, will get to listen to the famous rapper, Snoop Dogg in an upcoming voice pack downloadable content (DLC) for the game.
The new DLC will contain Dogg's voiceover and is scheduled to hit markets on 22 April for Xbox Live initially and later for other consoles, GameSpot reported. It will be costing $3.
Gamers can hear the rapper saying things like "Don't stop. Cap 'em and shank 'em," "Homies out the joint. It's party time," "You got the Spitfire drone now" and many more such lines. Though many of the lines were written by Infinity Ward, the rapper has said that he was allowed to add his own "Snoopisms" in the sentences.
"What interests me most about the project is that my voice could be connected with a game that's so hip and so hood. It says a lot. It's associated with greatness," he said in the video.
On 22 April, apart from the release of Snoop Dogg's voice over DLC, Call of Duty: Ghost players will also see the release of another voice pack from R. Lee Ermey who was the drill sergeant in Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket."
Is Soap MacTavish a DLC Character?
Characters from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare have been making a comeback in Call of Duty: Ghosts. Characters like Zakhaev, Makarov and Price were featured as DLC characters for the game's multiplayer mode, however, there might be another character from Modern Warfare that too might enter the game. Soap MacTavish who appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was teased by Infinity Ward in a Tweet showing his picture and asking fans if it should continue or not.
GamingBolt reports that this can mean different things and he might as return as a killer cyborg in Modern Warfare ore might be a downloadable character skin in Ghosts.
