Call of Duty: Ghosts, the FPS title from developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision, has received a new patch, bringing in a new Chaos mode to Xbox 360, Xbox One and the PC versions of the game.
The patch will also fix issues and add tweaks to the game. The Chaos mode will be added to the Extinction DLC.
Originally, Chaos mode was introduced in 2011's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Players had to face wave after wave of enemies, and all players must chain together in order to earn power ups, which will be very helpful in taking out these enemies.
There is no information yet on when these updates will be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
Call of Duty: Ghosts was released on 5 November for PC, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and was released later for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game has sold more than 19 million units around the world. It introduced a US Special Operations team with Captain Elias Walker as its leader, Logan and David "Hesh" Walker, Captain Thomas A. Merrick, Sergeant Keegan P. Russ and a German Shepherd.
The setting of the game is in an alternate timeline where, the US has suffered nuclear attacks and there has been no command structure, with a federation of South American countries trying to dominate the world. The Ghosts are tasked with protecting their motherland from vested interests of the Federation.
