If you had tried buying the Xiaomi Mi 4i during the flash sale but failed, don't worry. Xiaomi is putting its latest smartphone on open sale for two days next week.
On 25 and 26 May (Monday and Tuesday), you can buy Xiaomi Mi 4i directly from Flipkart, without any pre-registration.
Incidentally, Xiaomi's rival Lenovo will also offering its budget smartphone A6000 Plus through open sale on these days. Eventually, both the smartphones will be available through Flipkart only.
Xiaomi also has an exchange offer on Flipkart. With the hashtag #TimeToChange, the offer allows device owners to sell their old gadgets and buy Mi branded smartphones.

The Mi 4i boasts of a 5-inch 1080p OGS display with a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with Cortex-A53 cores clocking speeds at 1.7 GHz and the other four at 1.1 GHz. The processor is coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. Xiaomi also has new adaptive brightness technology, called Sunlight display, to improve readability outdoors.
On the camera side of things, the Mi 4i sports a 13mp rear-facing F/2.0 camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5mp front shooter. The handset packs a 3,120mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 6 on top of it.

Xiaomi is also offering ₹2,000 discount on its Mi 4 smartphones on Flipkart. With the price cut, the 16GB and 64GB editions of Mi 4 are available for ₹ 17,999 and ₹ 21,999 respectively. The Mi 4i is available for ₹ 12,999.
