BTS's 'IDOL' has been breaking records on YouTube as it crossed 100 million views recently. It also topped a Japanese music chart recently. Now the 'Love Yourself' series has come to an end with their third compilation album 'Answer.'
As noted by website Soompi, BTS's 'Love Yourself: Answer' clinched the top spot on the weekly digital album chart of the Japanese music chart Oricon. It maintained the position for the week of August 20 to August 26.
BTS also held a V Live broadcast on August 29 titled, 'Bangtan News: Behind the Answer.' The group expressed happiness at being able to complete the series and also revealed interesting stories about the making of their albums.
BTS member Jungkook said, "We have reached the finale with 'Answer.' We started in March 2016 and we concluded it after two years and five months. I feel proud and sad. We all tried our best, so I think we created a meaningful album. I hope ARMY feels the same way about the album."
Regarding his solo track 'Trivia: Just Dance,' J-Hope said, "It's a really fun song. I included the meaning that no matter what others say, I'm myself and I love myself. It sounds both Korean and global."
When asked about his piano practice, Jinmin said that he has been practising it with one of the agency's composers. Jimin then said, "I also recorded a piano practice video. I began practicing two to three weeks before the concert." He also added, "Jin said that he couldn't pretend to play the piano to the fans."
The V Live broadcast then showed scenes behind-the-scenes videos of BTS members filming the hit music video for "IDOL," Member Suga said, "I can say that this is our most difficult choreography."Jimin said, "It's a dance that uses up a lot of energy, so it made me wonder if performing this live would be possible. But isn't it our duty to practice and make a live performance possible?"
BTS's V also thanked the choreographer. He called the choreography epic and said he has hope that the audience and listeners will like the dance moves.
BTS are currently doing a world tour, which began in Seoul and they will eventually perform in the United States.
Meanwhile, 'Game of Thrones' actor Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, has revealed she is a big fan of BTS. As noted by Soompi, Williams responded to an IDOL challenge hashtagged post on Twitter with numerous hearts.
