Director Srinu Vaitla's Telugu movie "Bruce Lee: The Fighter" starring Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in the leads has earned 100% table profit in its pre-release business.
"Bruce Lee: The Fighter" is a family entertainer with all commercial ingredients like romance, action, comedy and drama to woo all sections of audiences. Besides direction, Srinu Vaitla has penned the screenplay for the film, while Kona Venkat and Gopimohan wrote the story and dialogues.
DVV Danayya has produced "Bruce Lee: The Fighter" under the banner of DVV Entertainments. S Thaman has composed the music, while Manoj Paramahamsa handled cinematography. The movie's songs have become big hits with the mass and its posters, teasers and trailer have created a lot of curiosity about its story.
"Bruce Lee: The Fighter" features Ram Charan Teja as a fighter, who is fondly called as Bruce Lee. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead in the film, which also features Kriti Kharbanda, Sampath Raj, Nadhiya, Saptagiri and Tisca Chopra. Tamil actor Arun Vijay is foraying into Tollywood with this movie.
The portions of Brahmanandam, in which he appears as Susuki Subramanyam alias Peter alias Pakodi are said to be one of its big attractions.
Above all these factors, "Bruce Lee: The Fighter" has created lot of buzz in the media. The film marks the comeback of Chiranjeevi, who is making a guest appearance after six years.
All these factors had created a lot of demand for its theatrical and satellite rights and leading TV channels and distribution houses were in the race to bag the rights. If we are to go by the reports, the movie, which has been made with a budget of Rs 37 crore, has fetched Rs 73 crore from the sale of its rights. It is the third highest price for a Telugu film in 2015 after "Baahubali" the Beginning" and "Srimanthudu".
