Ram Charan's "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" (BLTF) has had a steep decline in its business at the Andhra Pradesh and Telanagana (AP/T) box office on Saturday, but its two-day collection stood higher than "Rudhramadevi".
"Bruce Lee - The Fighter" released in over 1,000 cinema halls across the two states on 16 October. The movie debuted with a fantastic response and grossed approximately Rs 16.55 crore at the AP/T box office on the first day. Its opening day distributor share stood at Rs 12.46 crore.
The Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh starrer became the biggest opener for a mega family film breaking the records of "Attirintiki Daredi", "Govindudu Andarivadele" and "S/o Sathyamurthy". "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" also turned out to be the third all time biggest opener Telugu movie after "Baahubali the Beginning" and "Srimanthudu".
The film garnered mix reviews from critics and audiences, who enjoyed the first half, but were very disappointed with the second half. The bad word of mouth took a toll on its business on Saturday and the movie witnessed a huge drop in business as it fell over 65 per cent on its second day.
As per early estimates, "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" grossed Rs 5.60 crore at the AP/T box office on the second day and its two-day gross total stands at Rs 22.15 crore.
