Indian batting sensation Smriti Mandhana is on a rampage in the ongoing Kia Super League T20 blast in England.
Against Lancashire Thunder, the southpaw blasted her maiden century in just 60 balls to seal the deal for Western Storm. Also, this propelled her side to the joint number one position in the league.
She smacked 12 boundaries and four sixes in her innings. She is the leading run-scorer in the competition so far and now averages 94. When she was dismissed by Satterthwaite in 18.2 overs, Storms needed just two runs to win the contest.
Earlier, the Thunder scored 153 for 7 in their 20 overs. Satterthwaite top-scored with an 85 not. However, Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian T20I captain could not open her account.
Western Storms and table leaders Loughborough Lightning have the same points but Lightning edge ahead on a better net run rate.
For the Western Storms, Anya Shrubsole starred with figures of 3/36.
Earlier in the tournament, Mandhana had smacked her first fifty of the league against Loughborough Lightning. This was also the joint-fastest fifty in the history of women's Twenty20s.
Her sequence of scores reads 8, 37, 52 no off 19 balls, 43 no off 27 balls and 102 off 61.
Here is how Twitter reacted to this blitz from Mandhana.
