One woman was injured in a fire that broke out at the Connaught Place branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce in Delhi on Tuesday has been extinguished.
"The fire broke around 11.45pm. One lady has been injured..." The Times of India quoted Delhi Fire Service director AK Sharma as saying.
Several people were feared trapped inside the building, but the chief of Delhi's fire service department said that everyone had been evacuated from the building, according to TV news reports.
The incident took place at around 11:40 am and 20 to 25 people were evacuated from the fourth floor of Harsha Bhawan.
At least 20 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the fire.
