Joseph Mathew Kuttolamadom, who was known for his role as a priest in popular Malayalam sitcom "Akkara Kazhchakal" passed away on Wednesday, 18 March following a cardiac arrest.
Joseph, 61, breathed his last in a flight on his way to Charlotte from New Orleans after the shooting of an upcoming Fahadh Faasil starrer.
The upcoming film is directed by Abi Varghese, who had directed the comedy sitcom based on the lives of American Malayalis.
Joseph, who hails from Thiruvananthapuram, was an employee of State Bank of India, New York, and was established as a theatre artist.
He is survived by his wife Thankamani Joseph, daughters Nisha Joseph and Nova Joseph.
