An accident has been reported at a nuclear power plant in Ukraine in the south-east part of the country.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk reportedly disclosed an accident at the Zaporizhye nuclear power plant in the south-east of the country and has instructed the energy minister to call a news conference, Reuters reported.
"I know that an accident has occurred at the Zaporizhye nuclear power plant," Yatseniuk said.

The problem occurred at bloc No 3 - a 1,000-megawatt reactor, Ukraninan news agency Interfax Ukraine has said. Ukrainian energy minister has said that the issues at the nuclear plant will be resolved by 5 December.
Ukraine had witnessed one of the worst nuclear disasters in history at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in 1986.
