Football powerhouses Brazil and Portugal will battle it out in the quarter finals of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2017, taking place in the Bahamas.
Brazil, the most successful team in the competition since its inception in 2015, with a total of four titles, are being tipped to win on Thursday May 4 against the defending champions Portugal, owing to the South American nation's stunning form so far.
The Brazil beach soccer team, coached by Gilberto Costa, have won all their three matches in the competition this year so far, with a total of 20 goals forwarded. Portugal, meanwhile, have won twice and lost once so far. Their 'goals for' record has amounted to 12.
Rodrigo and Catarino have remained the standout players for Brazil so far, and the dynamic duo needs to be stopped by the Portugal beach soccer team, to have any chance of beating Brazil.
