The actor posed for the cover of GQ magazine and opened up about life after the Brangelina separation. Speaking nothing about his wife, except for once to recommend her movie to watch, Pitt accepted some of his mistakes may have added to the strained relationship leading to the divorce.

Pitt spoke about his drinking habit stating that he has changed his lifestyle. "I was boozing too much," he shared. "It's just become a problem. And I'm really happy it's been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I've got my feelings in my fingertips again."

He added, "Truthfully I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good."

If you remember, Pitt's world tumbled after he allegedly got "verbally abusive" and "physical" with his and Jolie's 15-year-old son Maddox, after drinking on their private plane on September 14, days before Jolie filed for divorce. So, could this and his unbelievable drinking habit be one of the factors for the split?

But Pitt also confessed that he doesn't "want to live that way anymore." Are these lifestyle changes a way to win Jolie back? If he is, then it seems like it is working.

According to Hollywood Life, the actress is "truly touched by Pitt's interview." Quoting a source close to Jolie, the website writes, "she was given an advanced copy out of respect and it reminded her of the Brad that she fell in love with years ago. She thought the interview was sincere, heartfelt and courageous. Angie felt relief that Brad owned up to much of his part in the failure of their marriage and she is proud that he is using the pain of their split as motivation to grow and change."
