As Bollywood gears up for Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which will for sure mint crazy money this Eid, there are two content-driven films, which are proving to be heroes at the box office.
Kangana Ranaut's "Tanu Weds Manu returns" has crossed ₹70 crore in its first week at the domestic box office, while the overseas collection now stands at ₹25 crore taking the worldwide total to ₹95 crore.

Deepika Padukone's "Piku", in its third week now, has successfully collected ₹75.08 crore so far. Reportedly, the Shoojit Sircar film would have earned a little more, had "TWMR" not hijacked the theatres.

In other news, amid all the hoopla, Anurag Kashyap's magnum opus "Bombay Velvet" starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar are being taken off theatres to make way for the rom-com.
However, according to a Koimoi report, the Aanand L Rai directorial is racing towards the blockbuster status and will soon be a ₹100-crore club member.

The report further states that the numbers are a huge bonus for corporate giant Eros as they have already owned the scene with previous off-beat productions, "Badlapur" and "NH10".
