Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sen Sharma's movie "Talvar" is maintaining a rock-steady position at the box office. The box office collection of "Talvar" is consistent since its fourth day (first Monday).
"Talvar", which is going strong at the box office, has minted Rs 17.05 crore in just eight-day. The film has been minting Rs 1.6 crore since Monday. The earnings dropped on second Friday due to the new release "Jazbaa", but the drop is less than 10 percent.
"#Talvar [Week 2] Fri 1.50 cr. Total: ₹ 17.05 cr. India biz. ROCK-STEADY!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
The film remained consistent on the second Friday and on Saturday "Talvar" box office number is expected to grow. The film has already minted Rs 17 crore and now it's looking for a Rs 30 crore lifetime box office collection.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also features Neeraj Kabi in important role.
On the other hand, Kapil Sharma's "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" pace at the box office has slowed down. The romantic comedy film completed two-week run at the domestic box office with Rs 48 crore income.
"Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" minted Rs 5.1 crore in its second week, which took its 14-day box office collection to Rs 48 crore.
"#BoxOffice #KisKiskoPyaarKaroon collects Rs. 5.1 cr in Week 2. Total - Rs. 48.6 cr," Bollywood Hungama tweeted.
Kapil's debut film is now inching towards Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office.
Directed by Abbas-Mustan, the film also features Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Amrita Puri, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Sai Lokur, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi, Sharad Sankla (Charlie), and Johnny Lever's daughter Jamie Lever.
