Akshay Kumar starrer heist drama, "Special 26" did fairly well at the box office in the second weekend too and continues to dominate the collections of dance movie "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance" directed by choreographer Remo D'Souza .
While "Special 26" minted approximately ₹13 crore in the second weekend, "ABCD" collected around ₹9 crore.
Considering the grand total, "Special 26" has done a business of ₹57 crore nett so far following its release on Feb 8.
Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Special26 collected approx Rs 13 cr nett in Weekend 2. Grand total: Rs 57 cr nett."
However, despite lacking a superstar cast except for Prabhu Deva, "ABCD" did a handsome business and rounded off the second weekend with a grand total of ₹41 crore nett.

"Special 26", which hit 1750 screens in India, opened up to an average response but later picked up is going on a steady pace in multiplexes despite the new release of "Murder 3", a sequel of Murder and "Murder 2". Even the collections of "ABCD" do not seem to be hampered by the latest release.
"ABCD" and "Special 26", which were released on the same day, collected ₹27 crore and ₹19.5 respectively in the first weekend.
"Special 26" is a movie based on a real con artist directed by Neeraj Pandey. It features Akshay, Kajal Aggarwal, Manoj Bajpayee ,Anupam Kher, Jimmy Sheirgill , Rajesh Sharma, Mukesh Bhatt and Deepraj Rana in the lead roles.
"ABCD" features Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya playing the lead roles. It was released on 400 3D screens and 350 2D on the first day of its domestic release.
