Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer "Singh Is Bliing" (Singh Is Bling) has shattered the box office collection records of "Gabbar Is Back" to become the sixth highest grosser of 2015.
Akshay's latest release has broken the records of his own film "Gabbar Is Back", which earned Rs 87.55 crore in its lifetime run.
With Rs 88.60 crore "Singh Is Bliing" (Singh Is Bling) is Bollywood sixth highest grosser of 2015. The box office collection of "Singh Is Bliing" (Singh Is Bling) has slowed down in its second week, and now it is unlikely that the film will earn more than Rs 100 crore at the box office.
In fact, it is highly unlikely that "Singh Is Bliing" will break the records of "Welcome Back" (Rs 96.65 crore) and "Baby" (Rs 95.50 crore).
Directed by Prabhudeva, the film also features Kay Kay Menon, Lara Datta, Pradeep Rawat, Anil Mange, Rati Agnihotri, Yograj Singh and Kunal Kapoor among others.
On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan starrer "Jazbaa" box office collection is going down in India. The film had a decent first weekend, but the downfall started after its fourth day.
In six-days, the film has minted Rs 20.41 crore from the domestic box office.
"#Jazbaa Fri 4.23 cr, Sat 5.49 cr, Sun 5.52 cr, Mon 2.11 cr, Tue 1.69 cr, Wed 1.37 cr. Total: ₹ 20.41 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
"Jazbaa", directed by Sanjay Gupta, will end with a first week run with an income of Rs 22 crore approximately.
The film features Aishwarya Rai, Irrfan, Shabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff, Siddhanth Kapoor and Priya Banerjee in important roles.
