Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer "Shaandaar" is all set for a fabulous opening at the box office on Thursday. The film is releasing on a Dusshera holiday, so the opening day box office collection will be good.
After a good opening, the film is expected to enjoy its second day run at the box office, as there is a holiday on Friday also. However, it remains to be seen how the film fares on Saturday.
"Shaandaar" features a fresh pair of Shahid and Alia, and also for the first time Shahid will be sharing screenspace with his father Pankaj Kapoor and sister Sanah Kapoor.
Expectations are also high because Vikas Bahl of "Queen" fame has directed the film.
Meanwhile, the current running film at the box office is comedy drama "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" and it has been doing extremely well in its first week.
