Ravi Teja's "Power" has turned out to be a hit at the worldwide box office. The film has minted ₹23.35 crore share in 17 days (from 12 September to 28 September) at the worldwide box office.

"Power" took a good opening by minting over ₹5 crore AP/Nizam share upon its release. The film continued to perform well despite facing competition from Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu." At the end of 17 days, "Power" earned ₹23.35 crore share worldwide, according to Andhraboxoffice.

Directed by KS Ravindra aka Bobby, "Power" has Ravi Teja appearing in the role of a cop. Hansika and Regina Cassandra play the female leads, while other cast members include Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mukesh Rishi, Posani Krishna Murali and Aditya Menon.

The film received good reviews from the critics who have termed it as a typical mass entertainer. Ravi Teja's performance as a cop won him accolades from the critics as well as from the audience alike.

With the success of "Power," the mass maharaja is on a roll with back-to-back successful films. The actor has now shifted his focus on his next project, "Kick 2." The film, a sequel to "Kick," will be directed by Surender Reddy. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead opposite Ravi Teja in the action entertainer.

The shooting of "Kick 2" has already commenced and is progressing well. The film is expected to hit the screens next year.

There will be huge expectations for the Ravi Teja starrer as the original film -"Kick"- was a big hit at the box office. It remains to be seen if the sequel will be able to justify the hype surrounding the project.

Besides "Kick 2," Ravi Teja might be seen in a multi-starrers with Venkatesh, to be directed by Veeru Potla. However, there is no official announcement regarding the project.

"The multi-starrer with Venky is still in the scripting stage and Veeru Potla is working on it. Let's see how it works out," Ravi Teja told The Times of India.

There were also reports claiming that the actor will be making his Bollywood debut in Samir Karnik's direction. The actor told the daily that the film did not materialise and he is waiting for the right script to make his debut.
